Join Helsinki City Running Day 2021
The largest running event in Finland, Helsinki City Running Day, is taking place on Saturday the 15th of May 2021. The event venue and the finish line will be at the iconic Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
The Helsinki City Running Day is the biggest and most international running event in Finland. The event attracts 15 000 runners from 82 nations and combines six running distances into one day. The event venue and the Finish of all the distances are at the iconic, freshly renewed Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
On May 15th, 2021 there is something for everyone; Finland’s largest half marathon Helsinki City Run, the 41th Helsinki City Marathon, half marathon + marathon = Helsinki City Double, Helsinki City Marathon Relay, the 5K street run Helsinki City 5 and the adorable children Minimarathon.
Course Highlights
Helsinki City Marathon is a one-start-event. 42,195 meters long route goes around Helsinki finishing inside the historical Helsinki Olympic Stadium. The course starts near the statue of Paavo Nurmi and finishes at the Olympic Stadium. Various parks, miles of Baltic Sea coastline, and the Helsinki City centre are all located along the route.Profil de la course

There is age limit of 18 years to Helsinki City Marathon and Helsinki City Double competition.

Medical service can be contacted from all the refreshment stations along the route and at the finish. Medical staff is available along the route.

Each runner finishing gets the finisher medal.

Temps maximum
The race time limit for half marathon is 3 hours, for marathon and relay 6 hours and for 5 Km 1 hour.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Helsinki Olympic Stadium, the day before the race day or on the race day 1,5 hours before your start.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes. Just provide your name and bib number to the person.
How do I get to the race location?
From the city centre you can either walk or use the public transportation. From Elielinaukio (railway station) all the busses goes near the Olympic Stadium or take a tram 2,4 and 10. The name of the stop is Töölön Kisahalli / Töölö Sports Hall.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes you can. If you are already registered in an event of HCRD 2021, but you’d rather take part in another distance the same day, please send us email: [email protected] You will get instructions to pay the price difference between the events. If you want to change it to cheaper event we will not return the price difference.
