Join Tranquilidade Half Marathon D`Ouro Run Gondomar 2024
The 9th edition of the Tranquilidade Half-Marathon D'Ouro Run Gondomar is set to make a return! On June 9, 2024, at 09:00, Gondomar will host this exciting event, organized by Associação Comvidacorrer with the support of the Municipality of Gondomar and the technical expertise of Eventsport. The race will unfold along the scenic municipal waterfront, stretching from Valbom to Foz do Sousa - Esposade.
Building on the resounding success of the past six editions, which surpassed all expectations and garnered praise from participants, the organizers have decided to bring back the seventh edition. This edition will feature the signature Half Marathon covering 21.097 kilometers, the 10-kilometer Mini Marathon, and a 5-kilometer Walk, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Rio D'Ouro.
The route offers participants a journey through unique, dazzling landscapes of rare beauty, accompanied by a microclimate that enhances the sporting experience. The course is designed to be fast and flat, providing an ideal opportunity for participants to achieve personal bests.
Taking place in an area aspiring to be a tourism hub in the region, the Entre-os-Rios road boasts all the necessary amenities to ensure leisure for visitors to Gondomar. The fabulous waterfront, adorned with magnificent river beaches, combined with the region's unique gastronomy, makes it a perfect destination for both athletes and leisure-seekers alike.
