After 6 exciting editions, RAIFFEISEN Generoso Trail is back and awaits you for the seventh edition on Sunday 19 October 2025.
The RAIFFEISEN Generoso Trail is a captivating uphill race that winds from the city of Mendrisio to the summit of Monte Generoso, standing at an impressive altitude of 1,704 meters.
Spanning 12 kilometers with a grueling elevation gain of 1,437 meters, this vertical challenge promises breathtaking scenery and unforgettable emotions.
The race begins with a short section on asphalt in Mendrisio, but the majority of the route immerses runners in the tranquility of nature. Upon reaching the summit, participants are rewarded with a spectacular 360-degree panorama featuring the Alps, the snow-capped Apennines, glistening lakes, and the vast Po Valley.
Open to all running enthusiasts aged 15 and above, the RAIFFEISEN Generoso Trail is also part of the prestigious ASTi Trail Cup.
Course details
To reach the finish line, you will have to face a 12 km route with a positive difference in altitude of 1437 meters! A vertical that will give you intense emotions.
After an initial section on asphalt in Mendrisio, for the remaining three-quarters of the route, you will run in contact with nature and once you reach the top, a spectacular 360-degree panorama of the Alps, the perpetually snow-capped Apennines, the lakes and the Po Valley awaits you.
