When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Location: The Agenda – Dubai Media City - Wednesday 13th January – 12.00pm – 10.00pm - Thursday 14th January – 10.00am to 10.00pm - Friday 15th January – 10.00am to 10.00pm - Saturday 16th January – 10.00am to 5.00pm
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
If you are having difficulty collecting your own run number we are allowing you to designate another person to collect on your behalf. In order to do this the person collecting on your behalf must have a printout of the final confirmation letter you will receive by e-mail in November. They must have proof of their identity in order to do this.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
There will be no refund or transfer of participation for those participants who do not take part or if the event is cancelled for whatever the reason.
Race Day Temperature
The temperature will be approximately 10-15 degrees Celcius at the start.
Where can I park near the finish?
There is no public parking near the finish. It is strongly recommended that you use public transport. Parking would be possible in the Mall of the Emirates/Al Barsha area with access made by crossing from the Dubai Metro Bridge at Mall of the Emirates taking you to the back of the starts walking past the Dubai Police Academy onto Umm Sequim Road.
What time do I need to get to the start?
We suggest you get to your allocated start at least one hour before the race begins. This will allow time for you to put your baggage bag in the baggage cabins, use the facilities, warm up and take your position in the starting pens.
Can I get an invitation to use for my visa application?
No, the event does not send visa invitation letters.
My friend/ family member is unable to run but has a place. Can I run using their entry?
Places in the Dubai Marathon are not transferable under any circumstances (see terms and conditions of entry). Anyone attempting to run using another person’s entry will be disqualified and banned from the Dubai Marathon.
