Course details
The event takes place in the natural surroundings of Marbella (Málaga), with all three distances starting from Paseo Marítimo, accessible via Calle Rafael Zea, 17C. The courses traverse predominantly narrow mountain trails with minimal asphalt, offering stunning views and technical terrain that challenge runners of all levels.
DESTROYER – 43.2 km
Approx. 98% trail, 2% asphalt
A demanding ultra-distance course that includes continuous elevation changes, technical descents, and scenic stretches through forests of Spanish firs (pinsapos). Notable aid stations include:
La Mina (7.5 km) – runnable trails, first hydration point
Ojén (13.8 km) – access to village via steep climb, stairs, and road crossing
Caseta de Purla (22.0 km) – challenging technical terrain and loose stone descent
Puerto de los Púlpitos (28.5 km) – scenic forest trails
Puerto de Marbella (31.7 km) – medical support, race convergence point
Puerto Rico Alto (37.3 km) – rocky ascents and flowing descents
Finish Line (43.2 km) – solid and liquid refreshments, communal meal, live music
Highlights include rugged mountain paths, pine-shaded trails, and panoramic views of the Sierra Blanca.
ROMPEPIERNAS – 30.2 km
Approx. 96% trail, 4% asphalt
This mid-distance route shares sections with the DESTROYER course but begins diverging at Cerezal (13.8 km). Terrain is technical in parts, with fast descents and steady climbs:
Puerto de Marbella (18.75 km) – convergence point with DESTROYER
Puerto Rico Alto (24.4 km) – rocky, challenging but runnable towards the end
Finish Line (30.2 km) – as above
Expect a physically demanding yet manageable route with varied elevation and terrain, ideal for experienced trail runners.
TRAMPANTOJO – 12.3 km
Approx. 94% trail, 6% asphalt
A shorter, accessible route suitable for recreational runners and hikers, but still includes technical sections:
Xarblanca (3.3 km) – early aid station after mixed trail and asphalt
Los Gitanos (6.0 km) – steep, challenging ascent
Xarblanca (10.0 km) – descent with stream crossing and safety chains for steep areas
Finish Line (12.3 km) – food, medical support, and entertainment
Despite its length, TRAMPANTOJO offers a rich trail experience through varied terrain and natural highlights.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The bib numbers will be available for collection at the following address: Plaza del Mar, ground floor, Calle Camilo José Cela 17, 29602, Marbella, Malaga. FRIDAY, 13 February2026 . (Mandatory date for Marbella residents) 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm - for any distance, residents or non-residents. SATURDAY, 14 February 2026 6:30 am - 7:30 am - "DESTROYER" 7:30 am - 8:30 am - "ROMPEPIERNAS" 8:30 am - 9:30 am - "TRAMPANTOJO"
How do I get to the race location?
If someone else is going to collect the bib number on behalf of the runner, they must provide a digital copy of the signed authorization and of the runner's ID.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
