Located in the Atlantic Ocean is an inhabited Island called The Bahamas. It is a popular vacation destination for people around the globe due to its white sandy beaches, endless ocean coastlines brimming with blue water, and amazing scuba diving and snorkeling. Nearby are the Andros Barrier Reef, the black-coral gardens off of Bimini, and the Thunderball Grotto.
The local language is Creole, and the locals are care-free and light-hearted, which is what makes tourists love this Island getaway spot. The Bahamas is actually made up of 700 islands and stretches out over 100,000 square miles across the Atlantic Ocean. It is said to have the clearest water of anywhere else on the planet.
If you are a newbie marathoner looking for your first competition or a seasoned veteran looking for a low-key destination to beat your personal best, marathons in Bahamas are less like work and way more like fun! Whatever it is that you run for, you can find inspiration in The Bahamas for sure!

I ran this race this year and it's an amazing location, beautiful view, well organized that's why I'm going back for next year race.

Marathon It was a pretty flat race expect for those 2 hills in the first 3 miles. I was a little disappointed that they run out of beer.. |
