Are You Prepared for Running in Japan?

The Mt. Fugi International Marathon is a great way to meet with other running enthusiasts from around the globe. It is a flat and fast course, but don't discount the beauty and awe of it as well. The Mt. Fugi International Marathon is run in Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Japan in November when the weather is tepid and perfect for running a marathon.

For women only, the Nagoya Women's Marathon is a great way to get in touch with your feminine, yet competitive, side. Run alongside over 15,000 participants from around the world. It is a course that is designed for beginner to seasoned athlete and everyone in between. So it is a great first marathon event for those who might be slightly intimidated.

Or, for the traveler who wants to see the sites of Tokyo, the Tokyo Marathon races around all the major attractions of this amazing city. Held in March, the weather is ideal and so are the massive crowds that align the city to cheer on the race participants. What better way is there to see Tokyo than on foot?

Running in Japan is unlike anywhere else on Earth. Its culture is as unique as its many marathon courses. And there is no shortage of locals to inspire you to make it over the finish line. So, what are you waiting for? Choose your race today, register and start training!
