Hermon Challenge

The Hermon – more than what you thought! Just as the snow gives way to the spring sun, we set out to conquer the highest peak in Israel. The Hermon Challenge combines a tough physical course, spectacular scenery and an inspiring technical run. Hermon Challenge is the only Israeli race to be a member of the The World Mountain Running Association (WMRA) The WMRA has a goal of promoting running competitions and athletic performance for all ages and abilities in places of natural beauty giving people fantastic memorable experiences. Starting in 2021 in partnership with the IAAF, Trail Runnings International Association (ITRA) and the International Association of Ultra Running (IAU) a combined World Championships will be held signalling a new era for the WMRA and a desire to bring the sports many disciplines together.
