Al Marmoom Ultramarathon
Join Al Marmoom Ultramarathon
Al Marmoom Ultramarathon is a tough multi stage challenge over endless sand dunes and under a relentless sun.
You can expect on average 8 hours of sunshine a day. The average daytime temperature in Dubai in December is a warm 27 C, but under the sun in the desert, temperatures can rise to 35 C whilst the average night-time temperature cools to 15 C and may be damp and foggy.
Communal tents will be pitched and there will be water rations on the route and in the camp.
To enter you have to be physically fit and mentally strong, and you need the right equipment.
Competitors will use a combination of running and walking to get across the finish line – and getting to the finish line is the ultimate reward.
