The Zaamin Ultra takes place annually in Zamin National Park, featuring one of the world’s highest mountain running trails. Participants can choose from several running distances, each offering a challenging route with scenic mountain views. Due to the mountainous terrain, distances are considerably tougher than city races, with a 2 km course in the mountains being equivalent in effort to a much longer urban race.
The event welcomes both seasoned athletes and beginners, and is designed for families as well as individual participants. In addition to the running events, guests can enjoy a vibrant festival atmosphere, including activities for children through the kids run, a tented camp for an immersive outdoor experience, and opportunities for hot air balloon rides showcasing panoramic park views. The event is capped off with an electronic music concert held on the mountainside, adding to the festive spirit.

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes. Additional payment may be required. No refund in case of changing to a cheaper race.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Registration fees are non-refundable. Only women who discover they’re pregnant and can’t participate in the race are entitled to a refund. A doctor’s confirmation of pregnancy is required.
How to qualify for the 50 km race?
To enter the 50K distance, you must meet one of the following criteria: - Provide a proof of completion of a 50 km race - Provide a proof of completion in under 4 hours and 30 minutes from a marathon race (42,195 km). Results should be accomplished within 12 months from the competition.
