Join ATW Big East & Maldon Triathlon 2025
The Big East Triathlon offers a Middle Distance Triathlon which consists of a 1.5km swim in a tidal river, an 86km bike ride, and concludes with a 20km run. In addition to this exciting event, participants also have the option to choose between the Standard (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run) or Sprint (750m swim, 25km bike, 5km run) Triathlon distances.
The race will begin in the afternoon, and athletes are encouraged to stay after the event to socialize with their fellow competitors.
For those who do not wish to participate in the run portion, there is an Aquabike option available for both the middle and standard distances, which includes the swim and bike disciplines only. Moreover, individuals can choose to compete as a team in the middle distance relay option, with two or three individuals sharing the swim, bike, and run disciplines between them.
