Join Umemaran - Umeå marathon
Umemaran is Sweden's second oldest marathon and was started in the in the 1970s by local running enthusiasts. The team now organize both a full and a half marathon. Both the 42.2 km and 21.1 km are control measured. The route is famous for being fast and the race is famous for its friendly atmosphere.
Also the city is worth a visits. Umeå one of the largest cities in Sweden and is a coastal university town. Here you find two universities and more than 39,000 students. The city was elected as the European Capital of Culture of 2014.
