Join Umeå Triathlon 2026
The Umeå triathlon starts at Nydalasjön's recreation area close to the city.
The competition area is a popular hangout for families with children and outdoor enthusiasts. There is a large playground adjacent to the area and many people run and walk on the path around the lake.
Course details
After transitioning, you cycle out towards the sea via Täfteå. The turning point is located in the lovely Rovögern. After the turn, you cycle the same way back and then switch to running. The sprint distance turns earlier.
The race takes place on a multi-lap course where the runners meet each other several times and it is a spectator-friendly and fast course. The environment is close to the sea with elements of farms, farmland and a bit of a city feel as we are on the outskirts of Umeå.
