Distanza Mezza maratona

Informazioni Run the Reagan

An early spring fixture on the metro Atlanta road race calendar that took place in February’s cold and blustery weather, Snellville’s Run the Reagan Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and fun run welcomes more than 3,000 runners each year for all races combined, along a course that unfolds along the Ronald Reagan Parkway just north of Snellville.

Runners can choose between the half-marathon, 10K, 5K or 1-mile fun run, and all of the races start near Emory Eastside Medical Center at the corner of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Presidential Circle in Snellville, Georgia. The race courses are moderately challenging, with no traffic as Ronald Reagan Parkway is closed the day of the race.

Proceeds from the race go to benefit two of Gwinnett County’s non-profit organizations, the Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry and the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry.

Panoramica

From the starting and finish line area at Presidential Circle near Emory Eastside Medical Center, the Run the Reagan Half Marathon course takes runners on a long, straight out-and-back route that takes them west along the Ronald Reagan Parkway all the way out to the half-way turnaround point, near Brown Lake and the intersection with Pleasant Hill Road. Once they make the turn, the course then brings runners back east along the route they’ve just run.
