Qiandao Lake Marathon (Thousand Lake Marathon)

Qiandao Lake Marathon, called Thousand Island Lake Marasthon as well, was first held in 2015. The Thousand Island Lake got its name from the 1078 islands which are located within the lake, and has the reputation for being the most pristine water body in the whole of China. It’s clear and calm waters are surrounded by mountains and waterfalls in every direction, resembling a scenic painting by an ancient artist.

The Thousand Island Lake Marathon consists of full marathon, half marathon, and a lake fun run.
