Set on the wide, flat paths of Gypsy Brae and the Silverknowes Promenade, it is perfect for all abilities, from first time runners to seasoned racers. Choose your distance with a 5K, 10K, or kids 1K Fun Run. Every finisher earns a medal, with prizes for top runners. After crossing the line, enjoy snacks, drinks, and a chance to snap a selfie with Scott Hastings. Last year raised £1K for charity and £500 for a local school. Let’s go even bigger this time.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Registration will take place at Gypsy Brae Recreation Ground, EH5 1QD, accessed from West Shore Road from 8.45am to 9.45am. You will be given a race number (plus safety pins) to put on your running top.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fees are non-refundable. Transfers - we offer FREE TRANSFERS to another Blast Running event, to another runner, or to race credits which can be redeemed for up to 1 year. You must give us at least 7 day's notice before the event and please email with details about which event you are transferring from and your choice of transfer option. Event cancellation - In the unlikely event of the event being cancelled owing to forces outside the organiser’s control, we will add a race credit to your Blast Running account to the value of a 5K race which can be redeemed for up to 1 year.
