Montaña de Oro

Montaña de Oro, "Mountain of Gold", features seven miles of shoreline, rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, coastal plains, streams, canyons, and hills, including 1,347-foot Valencia Peak. This is the home of Montana de Oro Half Marathon.

Montana de Oro Half Marathon is apart of the Pacific Coast Trail Runs, which provide the opportunity for runners to push further and find amazement in themselves by offering long distance running events on California’s beautiful trails. Everything we do celebrates community, the environment and strength of the human spirit.
