Maxi Race Madeira takes place in the breathtaking São Vicente Municipality! This unique event invites trail runners to explore the stunning Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Participants will journey through São Vicente, Ponta Delgada, and Boaventura, showcasing the rugged beauty of Madeira's northern region. With its dramatic cliffs and serene landscapes, São Vicente serves as the heart of this year’s race and an ideal destination for trail running enthusiasts. Maxi Race Madeira continues the proud tradition of the global Maxi Race series, combining adventure, culture, and personal challenges in some of the world’s most stunning locations. Course details
The 100 km event of the Maxi Race Madeira will be the main distance of the event. The 100 km and the 5500m D+ make this demanding race a true test to the resistance of all the athletes. This race will cross the Laurissilva Forest Natural Heritage of Humanity classified by UNESCO in 1999.
Long Race
The 55 km MaXi-Race Madeira will be the advanced race of the four distances of the MaXi-Race Madeira. The track will take you to a wide diversity of terrain as well as the fabulous landscapes. Nature here is the queen! The Laurrisilva forest is classified as Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Medium Race
The second smaller of the MaXi-Race Madeira distances is the 25 km perfect all Trail Running lovers that enjoy nature. Despite being the second shortest distance of all the MaXi-Race Madeira distances, it shows all the beauties from the Island.
Mini Race
The smaller of the MaXi-Race Madeira distances is the 15 km, perfect for all trail running lovers that enjoy nature. Despite being the shortest distance of all the MaXi-Race Madeira distances, it shows all the beauties from the Island.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Each and every athlete can cancel the subscription within 60 days prior to the event being entitled to 50% of the refund. All submitted cancelations demanded less than 60 days prior to the event day will have no right to reimbursement. However the athlete can change is registration to the next edition of the event. A change in the distance can be made, making the payment of the respective sets of value if it is the case. No refunds will be made in cases of change of proof. All applications for registration of changes should be formalized by email. Registration can be transferred to other athletes in cases of major force and respective documents of support. In the case of transfer of subscription to another athlete, he/she will have to make their own application and if any difference in value, must be paid these amounts. (Respecting the deadline for changes). All the registration changes can only take place until the closing of the registrations.
