Maryland Half Marathon & 5K

This year’s virtual event will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2021, with participants walking or running in their neighborhoods or communities. The Maryland Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk has raised more than $5 million for cancer research with 100 percent of the net proceeds benefitting the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. Participants can run their virtual race any time through Monday, May 10 and submit their results. Virtual Half Marathon is 13.1 miles, and the virtual 5K Run/Walk is 3.1 miles, with participants walking or running in their neighborhoods and communities.
