In addition to its athletic appeal, the International Marathon of Marrakech is a major tourist event, transforming the city of palm trees into a top destination for thousands of Moroccan and international visitors.
Course details
Official distances: 21.097 for the half-marathon, certified by an international expert (World Athletics – AIMS). The course is flat and fast, despite a few gentle uphill sections in the palm grove, allowing for a good performance and an attempt to break the world record.
