La Habana is the capital of the Republic of Cuba. For the geographical position and the excellent qualities of its bay, was for centuries the required scale of the Spanish fleet in transit to Europe.
Running at the Circuit of Marabana Cuba will let you know very unique areas of the city including Old Habana, where the buildings form a magnificient treasure and is now a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and important sites the city stands, as they are their strenghts, their sumptuous avenues and important places of cultural wealth.
High uniqueness are the architectural works and the various monuments which stand out the National Capitol, the Sports City, the Monument to the medical students and a monument dedicated to a National Hero José Martí, located in the Plaza de la Revolución, home of significant historical events of the last 54 years of the Republic of Cuba.
Since 1987, La Habana, capital of the Greater Antilles, welcomes prestigious runners from all around the world in a particular sporting event, where everyone has a real chance to win and become a champion.
Course details
The start and finish is in front of the Sala Ramon Fort, the tour includes the following streets and avenues; Prado, Refugio, Zulueta, ave. Missions; Pier; Road; 12th Street; 23rd Street; bird. 26; Boyeros; Santa Catalina; Primelles; White Way; Boyeros; Salvador Allende; Queen Prado.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
November 13 and 14 from 9am to 8pm November 15 and 16 - 24 hours Hotel Sede de Marabana – Tryp Melia Habana Libre Calle L between 23 and 25, Vedado, Havana, Cuba.
Cut-off times
The race has a time limit of 3h for the Half Marathon (until 10am) and 6h 30′ for the Marathon (until 1:30 pm). Runners have 3h 30′ to run the first 21km. After that time limit, it is not allowed to continue in the race to complete the marathon.
