Join Lykos Half Marathon 2026
The Lykos Half Marathon invites participants to run across one of Turkey’s most remarkable landscapes, combining the natural beauty of Pamukkale’s UNESCO-listed travertine terraces and the historical heritage of the ancient city of Hierapolis. The 21.0975 km route features a mix of asphalt and cobblestone surfaces, with the final 2 kilometers taking runners through the ancient streets of Hierapolis, offering a unique running experience among Roman ruins, including baths, a theater, and an ancient pool. The terrain is varied, with ups and downs reflecting the natural and historic topography.
In addition to the race, participants can enjoy the therapeutic thermal pools of Pamukkale and sample Denizli’s distinctive local cuisine, featuring dishes such as Denizli kebab and keşkek, ensuring visitors experience both the region’s cultural and culinary highlights.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Race kits will be distributed between October 23-24, 2026 at Forum Denizli and on October 24, 2026 at the Pamukkale event area. Kits will not be distributed on the day of the race.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Participant Kit Delivery Authorization, if the participant wants to have the race kit delivered to someone else, the person receiving the delivery and the person receiving the delivery accept that they performed this operation with their own consent and that all responsibility belongs to them. The participant is obliged to submit an identity copy or photo of this person together with the person to whom the kit will be delivered, as well as a signed statement stating that the participant has authorized the person to receive the delivery.
How do I get to the race location?
Free shuttle buses to start of the race will depart at 07:00 from the following locations: - In front of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality (Çınar) - In front of University KYK - In front of Teraspark AVM A Door - In front of Forum Denizli AVM (Forum Çamlık – Democracy Square) - In front of Bağbaşı Regional Administrative Court (Bölge İdare Mahkemesi) - In front of Courthouse (Adliye Sarayı). At the end of the race, there will be a shuttle service from the event area to the same points.
