Lumbini Peace Marathon, is a unique marathon which combines spirituality, culture and adventure sports in the place of Lord Buddhas birth. The marathon highlights the prime locations in Buddha journey to Enlightenment. With an aim to develop and preserve the architectural and historical bases of the place, Lumbini Peace Marathon is devised. The marathon is held on the day Buddha returned to his Kingdom after enlightenment.
