The Llanelli Half Marathon & 10K is a longstanding road race in the Carmarthenshire region. Both races start and finish at Festival Fields, with the route primarily following flat terrain along the picturesque Millennium Coastal Path and several closed roads. The events are UKA licensed, and the maximum elevation is 15m in the 10K and 16m in the half marathon, making them ideal for runners aiming for a fast finish or those entering their first race. The course offers scenic views of Llanelli Beach, the Loughor Estuary, and the Gower Peninsula, showcasing some of the best landscapes in the area.

How do I get to the race location?
By Car: If you are travelling by car the main access route to Llanelli is via the M4 using Junction 48. You can also use the A484 and head towards the A484 just off Sandy Water Park, the access to Festival Fields (SA15 4DP) is right next to the Days Garage. Please remember to car share with friends or family, it helps reduce congestion and our impact on the environment! By Train: If you’re arriving by train, Llanelli train station is on Great Western Cresent and is a 10 minute taxi ride to Festival Fields (SA15 4DP).
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
If you withdraw, no refunds are given. You may defer your entry once to the following year if injured, have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are postpartum (up to 2 years from entry), with a medical/midwife note and paying a £30 (+bf) deferral fee. Deferral requests must be submitted before 4 Feb 2026. Processing fees are non-refundable. If the course cap is reached, entries are refused. If you bought Refundable ‘Ticket Protection’, claims must be made with Refundable directly. No refunds are given if the event is delayed, cancelled, postponed or changed due to major incidents, government action, extreme weather, pandemics, or emergencies, and we are not liable for any losses. We may convert to a Virtual Event, amend the course, or change the date or distance with no refunds provided.
Can I run with headphones?
In line with Welsh Athletics rules, headphones are no longer permitted.
