The annual Lakefront Marathon, the signature event of the Badgerland Strider’s Race Club will be held in October. The point-to-point race starts in Milwaukee’s northern suburb of Grafton and winds along Lake Michigan before finishing after 26.2 miles at Veteran’s Park in Milwaukee.
The race will feature a one-day runner’s expo at the Italian Community Center. The race will also be a Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Regional Championship race. The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon is the only RRCA marathon in Wisconsin, with the Badgerland Strider Ice Age Trail 50 Miler ultra-marathon also being named a regional championship.
