Join Konkan Beach Marathon
Konkan Beach Marathon is run entirely on the beach. The sand is compact and firm. We start running before the sunrise when there is the early dark blue light. It is ok to run barefoot but remember some sea shells also have sharp edges. At the finish everyone dips into the Arabian Sea. You can keep a change of clothes at the baggage counter at the start-finish point. At the finish you will have music band, this beach carnival continues up to 10:30 AM.
Race is conducted under the aegis of Raigad District Athletic Association.
