Join Great Wall Ultra Trail, Badaling
As one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, the Great Wall provides an awe-inspiring backdrop for this exhilarating event. Great Wall Ultra Trail, Badaling started from Badaling, which is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China. Along the way, runners are rewarded with sunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making every step of the journey unforgettable.
The 40km group has a total climb of 2100 meters. The starting point is Wangjing Square in Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area. The route is as follows: Wangjing Square ~ Badaling Scenic Area Watch Tower ~ Badaling Forest Park ~ Badaling Ancient Great Wall Scenic Area ~ Qingshuiding ~ Shibapan ~ Zhenziyu ~ Daheigou ~ Shi Xiancun~Huajiyao~Bangshuiyu Taishan Temple~Bangshuiyu~Lipao. It passes through four supply points, namely: Badaling Ancient Great Wall Scenic Area Chuangwangpoguan, Shibapan, Zhenziyu, Shixia Village, and ends at Lipao Village Committee.
The 26km group has a total climb of 1,500 meters. The starting point is Wangjing Square in Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area. The route is as follows: Wangjing Square ~ Badaling Scenic Area Watch Tower ~ Badaling Forest Park ~ Badaling Ancient Great Wall Scenic Area ~ Qingshuiding ~ Shixia Village ~ Huajiyao ~ Bangshuiyu Taishan Temple ~ Bangshuiyu ~ Lipao. Passing through two supply points, they are: Chuangwang Poguan in Badaling Ancient Great Wall Scenic Area and Shixia Village, and the end point is Lipao Village Committee.
The 6km group has a total climb of 400 meters, starting from Wangjing Square in Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area, and the route is as follows: Wangjing Square ~ Badaling Scenic Area Watch Tower ~ Badaling Forest Park ~ Qinglongqiao New Railway Station, and ends at the entrance of Badaling Forest Park Scenic Area.
