Join Carthage Race Marathon
We refer to yourparticipation at the 7th Carthage Race Marathon 2022 in Tunisia, which was scheduled to be held on Sunday 22 May 2022.
Since, as known to everyone, the repercussions of the Covid19 pandemic are still negatively affecting the Tunisian economy, the market in general and the difficulties for the sponsors to allowed financial partership to cover the cost of the organisation.
In order to establish an international 42Km Carthage Marathon Qualified World Marathon Masters open to all and befitting Tunisia and itsposition in the region and the world, it was decided to postpone the 7the Carthage Race Marathon for next 26th February 2023 in order to ensure the presence and participation of international Runners from all over the world, which will benefit all the participants and also to offer more time to find new Tunisian & International sponsors.
We thank you for your understanding, trust and cooperation in order to hold an international 42Km Carthage Marathon that achieves everyone's goals.
Course details
The Carthage Race event will take place in Carthage with departure from the Carthage theater gate to Sidi Bousaid – La Marsa and back near Carthage parc on an accurately measured, fast and flat looped course . Full marathoners would need to run 2 laps.
