Bungay Black Dog Marathon

The Bungay Marathon is organised by the Bungay Black Dog Running Club held since 2006. There will also be a Bungay Half Marathon and a 1 mile Family Fun Run.

The Bungay Black Dog Marathon is a rural road race with both flat and hilly sections. The Marathon course of 26 miles 385 yards and the Half Marathon course of 13 miles 192.5 yards though it has been re-classified as a Multi-Terrain race, and the 10 km race. The marathon course is 2 laps of a 13.1 mile loop through the scenic Waveney Valley of Suffolk and Norfolk. The site is at the Bungay and District Sports Association on Maltings Meadow, Ditchingham.
