Join Bangkok 21K Park Run
From 2016 to 2020, JOG&JOY blazed a trail by establishing and refining a half marathon route in Bangkok, spanning from Suan Luang Rama IX to Bueng Nong Bon. This event became a cherished tradition, receiving consistent backing from the private sector each year. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic halted proceedings in 2020 and 2021, disrupting the rhythm of the competition worldwide. However, by the close of 2021, the CCSA (Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration) eased restrictions, permitting the resumption of road running events. The inaugural Bangkok 21K Park Run in 2022 served as a pioneering example, showcasing the feasibility of hosting such events in park settings amidst stringent COVID-19 safety protocols. This milestone demonstrated successful organization under constrained circumstances, attracting participants from over 32 nations. As a result, park-based running events proliferated not only in Bangkok but also in various provinces, adhering to rigorous safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved.
