Bahamas Half Marathon

With the lure of a big city and the ease of tropical utopia, Nassau & Paradise Island are considered by many as, well, paradise. Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas, is a bustling metropolitan hub full of culture and modern amenities. To the north lies Paradise Island. Its name tells you everything. It’s 685 acres of pure euphoria, developed almost exclusively to delight and accommodate visitors. The island boasts resorts, hotels, restaurants, shops, nightlife, a golf course, an aquarium and a casino. Nassau, Bahamas is home to the Bahamas Half Marathon.

The Bahamas Half Marathon course will start and finish at Arawak Cay. The course is an out and back along the Northern coastline of New Providence.

The Bahamas Half Marathon is an event produced by Bahamas Roadmasters and Lee McCoy. The pair have extensive experience in putting on events in The Bahamas and around the world.

The Bahamas Half Marathon’s event date is designed to coincide with training plans for Marathon Bahamas. Those training for the full marathon in January will have a half marathon to check their pace against.

The event will be supported by local organizations and will also give back to the community. Stay tuned for more details!
