Join Bagan Marathon 2025
Bagan Marathon by RUNderful Myanmar invites runners to experience an unforgettable race through one of the world’s most extraordinary cultural landscapes. The flag-off is at Ananda Temple, an iconic Buddhist temple nearly a thousand years old.
Set in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bagan—an ancient city and former capital of the Bagan Kingdom—runners will traverse routes lined with thousands of temples, monasteries, and pagodas. First-time participants can expect breathtaking vistas of sunlit, earthen-hued temples set against a vast blue sky.
