GENERAL INFO: The name of the race “6 sjöar” – six lakes – is obvious: all distances encircles lakes, the marathon encircles all six lakes. It is a unique event and an opportunity to enjoy Swedish landscape with your running shoes on. The four distances: 42,2 – 21,1 – 10,5 – 5,5 km is great if you bring friends and family. You are able to change distance until last day.
A lovely feature of the race is that you celebrate your achievement by taking a swim. The start and finish is at Fjällnora, a beach located at an isthmus between two lakes, surrounded by forests.
The event is small scale and friendly, we expect a maximum of 400 people on each distance. Our aim is to focus on lovely run courses and less garbage. So we will provide runners with multi-use cups instead of plastic cups. Less merchandise, but more run fun. You may actually meet a steam train along the course!
Please note that our race is open for limited number of runners with dogs, 2024 there were just five dogs among 1100 runners. Please contact us if you are not comfortable with four footed friends.
HEALTH AND TRAVEL GUARANTEE: You should feel safe about running our race. If you cannot travel or feel any symptoms you can:
– Until two weeks before the race: Get your money back, minus SEK 100 (about 5 €) for handling.
– Until three days before: Get your money back minus SEK 150 (about 15 €)
– Until one day before: Cancel and keep your ticket to the next year (no cost).

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
In central Uppsala two days prior the race or on race day, or at least half an hour before.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, just say the name of the participant.
How do I get to the race location?
There is a free bus from the central station.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes, you can change to a shorter distance for free, and to a longer distance for an additional fee.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?

Not really, the race itself gives a refund minus SEK 50 (about 5 €) until 2 weeks before the race. The extra fee just an extra insurance.
