This popular women’s-only 5km run in Addis Ababa is a vibrant celebration of International Women’s Day and the vital contributions of Ethiopian women to the country’s economic and social development. The event also honors Ethiopia’s exceptional female athletes who have inspired generations.
The race takes place in the Bole district of Addis Ababa, with the start and finish near the Atlas Hotel.
The online entry fee is £30, which includes an official race t-shirt and a souvenir medal. Participants who register online can collect their race packs from the race office near the Haile Grand Hotel in Lambaret. The collection is available during race week, with final pick-up times before the event.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Online registrants should collect their race packs from the race office near to Haile Grand Hotel in Lambaret (0116 635757) in race week from Wednesday 13th March to Saturday 16th March 2025. The latest time for collection is 5pm on Saturday 15th March 2025.
