Join Tampere Marathon
Tampere Marathon 2021 will be run on Sunday 5 September 2021. The marathon route starts from Tampere Rowing Stadium, goes through the beautiful city, via amazing arboretum and back to the Rowing Stadium.
You can choose to run a marathon, a half maraton, a quarter marathon (10,5 km) or participate in a marathon relay. Marathon relay is run in teams of four (4). Childen have their own Minimarathon at Tampere Rowing Stadium.

There are plenty of hotels and motels available in Tampere.

A hot soup will be served at the finish. Discount prices for local swimming hall for the participants.
Postes de Secours
There are three service points on the route at regular intervals. There are also toilet facilities along the route.
Médailles
Each finishing participant gets a Tampere Marathon medal, and top three of each age group is awarded with a trophy.

There is a supervised equipment storage for runners in the rowign stadium. Please have your number displayed when importing and removing equipment.
Temps maximum
Full marathon: 6 hrs, half marathon: 4 hrs
Parking
Kulma-Sarvis parking lot at next to the Rowing Stadium is available on the day of the event, and Metso parking spaces can be used with no charge.
Service photo fourni
A professional photographer will take pictures on the race day. Photos will be published on the event's website and Facebook.
Rafraîchissements
At service points: athletes' own drinks, Squeezy sports drink, water and juice, pickle and sea salt. At finish: hot soup and bread.
Chronométrage
A timekeeping chip is pre-attached to each number tag, not to be returned. Results are published in Juoksija magazine and www.tamperemaraton.fi.
Refund Policy
Participation cannot be cancelled and registration fees will not be refunded in any case. In case of illness/injury, please contact the Race Director.

At the Rowing Stadium (Hatanpäänkatu 6, Tampere) either the night before or on the race day.

Yes.
How do I get to the race location?
The Rowing Stadium is at a walking distance (2 km) from the Tampere city center. There are also public transportation available: reittiopas.tampere.fi
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes, for a change fee.
