If you’re labouring under the misconception that ‘former Soviet’ means dull and grey and that all tourist traps are soulless, Tallinn will delight in proving you wrong. This city has charm by the bucketload, fusing the modern and medieval to come up with a vibrant vibe all of its own. It’s an intoxicating mix of ancient church spires, glass skyscrapers, baroque palaces, appealing eateries, brooding battlements, shiny shopping malls, rundown wooden houses and cafes set on sunny squares – with a few Soviet throwbacks in the mix, for added spice. This is Tallinn, home to the Tallinn City Trail.
How is it possible to have a trail run in the city? You will be surprised! Often we are stuck to our usual commute channels and sports tracks and just don’t notice beautiful and interesting natural objects just under our nose. Turning to unknown trails allows you to challenge yourself and collect new intense emotions and memories! Back to nature!
Course details
Tallinn City Trail is a trail run through some of the most spectacular natural features hidden in Tallinn, crowned by sunset view of Tallinn bay from limestone Sugarhill cliff. Course following beautiful and challenging natural surface trails.
