Located in an area of great natural beauty, the municipality of Penacova boasts an extensive network of unique pedestrian paths, complemented by numerous forest trails and single tracks along the banks of the Mondego River. This makes it an ideal destination for our sport.
The exceptional natural conditions of this region, situated in the very heart of Portugal, along with its proximity to Coimbra and the availability of accommodation, are key factors in attracting participants to this locale.
The course features several stunning trails that meander around the bends of the Mondego River, with major points of interest including Reconquinho Beach, the Miradouro Penedo do Castro, the Mirante Emídio da Silva, the Moinhos de Gavinhos, and the iconic Livraria do Mondego.
