IRONSTAR Egypt opens the season on the Red Sea coast with a sports weekend in Sharm El Sheikh. The event includes triathlon, open-water swimming, women’s and men’s runs, and kids’ races.
The swim course takes place in the Red Sea, one of Egypt’s well-known coastal locations. In February, the water temperature is around +20°C. If weather conditions require changes, a backup swim course may be used.
The bike course follows a wide road with a smooth surface and good visibility, allowing athletes to maintain a steady rhythm and focus on speed early in the season.
The running route passes through the grounds of Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh, with smooth turns, resort surroundings, and spectator support along the course.
IRONSTAR Egypt combines racing with a resort setting. Participants can compete in the morning, recover by the sea during the day, and spend the evening at the resort. The event is suitable for athletes targeting a result as well as those combining competition with a sports vacation.
