The Granfondo Serra da Estrela provides an opportunity for all cycling enthusiasts and aficionados to experience the thrills and challenges of high mountain stages in the only destination with such features in Portugal. The town of Manteigas will once again serve as the host for this edition, where the entire event headquarters will be situated. The city of Seia will also be a significant milestone in this challenge, marking the passage of all participants before they traverse the spectacular southern face of Serra da Estrela.
The Granfondo Serra da Estrela unfolds entirely within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, allowing participants to visit some of the most iconic locations and landscapes of this protected area. The effort of tackling the longest climbs found in Portugal will undoubtedly be rewarded by the surroundings and the unique high mountain scenery of our country.
Athletes who prefer not to take on the most demanding challenge can opt for the Mediofondo, which is an excellent choice for those seeking their first experience of conquering the Serra da Estrela.
It promises to be an epic challenge for many and a true Queen Stage for all.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The collection of documentation, including the bicycle's front plate, will be carried out at the race secretariat, which will be open on the 28th and 29th of June at times to be announced.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
In case of withdrawal, if this is communicated until midnight on May 31, 2025, 50% of the amount paid for their registration will be refunded to the participant. If the withdrawal is communicated after midnight on May 31, 2025, no refund will be made.
