Join Sofico Gent Marathon 2025
Ghent will once again host the Sofico Gent Marathon, featuring a stunning course through the beautiful city of Artevelde! The race begins at Sport Vlaanderen Gent, with athletes making a heroic finish on the athletics track in the hall.
Recognized as Belgium's premier spring marathon, the Sofico Gent Marathon is also gaining international acclaim, attracting 15,000 participants in its previous edition.
To enhance the experience for runners, the marathon and half-marathon events have staggered start times. The course remains largely unchanged from the 2024 edition, offering a journey through the city center and iconic landmarks such as St. Michael’s Bridge, Houtdok, the Gentbrugse Meersen, and the Planet Group Arena.
