Join Space Coast Marathon & Half-Marathon

Running Zone Foundation and Space Coast Runners welcome you to the annual running of the Space Coast Marathon and Half-Marathon presented by Publix – Florida’s oldest marathon. We invite runners and walkers alike to experience one of the most beautiful USATF certified waterfront courses on the east coast of Florida.

Both races start in the historic and quaint Cocoa Village, and finish with a lap around the Riverfront Park amphitheater where family and friends can cheer and watch your finish.

As our race is held within the shadow of the Kennedy Space Center, the entire event revolves around a space theme sure to delight and energize our participants.

A long, scenic marathon and half-marathon event that takes runners along a course that unfolds entirely along the waters of the Indian River that flows between the cities of Cocoa and Cocoa Beach, the Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon features a course known for long, flat stretches shaded by the ever-present palm trees along the roads.

Course highlights

The course starts in beautiful Cocoa Village: 430 Delannoy Avenue, Cocoa, FL 32922 The marathon course heads north running along Indian River Drive until the turnaround heading back towards Cocoa Village. The marathon course will then continue south on Rockledge Drive and the half marathon course. The half marathoners head south on Rockledge Drive to the turnaround and will finish back at Riverfront Park.
