The Wizz Air Skopje Marathon has become a renowned running event in Skopje, since its re-establishment in 2007. With its three races - marathon, half marathon, and a 5K humanitarian race - it is a proud member of the AIMS and attracts more and more runners each year. Its previous promoters include Kenyan Wilson Kipsang, the world record holder in 2014; the Estonian triplets Luik in 2017; and Paula Radcliffe from the UK, who held the women's world record from 2003 until 2020. This year, the marathon is a qualifying race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships in 2021.
We strongly suggest that you extend your stay in Skopje and explore the area's natural wonders like Lake Matka, as well as the city's numerous tourist attractions, restaurants and bars. A visit to the Skopje Marathon will certainly be a memory that will last you a lifetime.
Detalles de la ruta
The Wizz Air Skopje Marathon begins from in front of the famous Macedonia Square, on Dimitrya Chupovski. It heads along old Stone Bridge and onto Boulevard Ilinden. The route then turns to the left and heads towards Mitropolit Teodosij Gologanov, where it heads back towards the start-finish line. Marathon-runners, however, go past the start-finish line and head towards Boulevard Jane Sandanski, before turning around and heading to the start-finish line to complete one lap of the circuit. The entire race-circuit is about 21.1km, which means that athletes need to take two-laps of the circuit to complete the marathon course.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Pickup point for the race package will be on 3-4 October 2025, from 10.00 a.m. till 8.00 p.m., more info coming soon. IMPORTANT: On the day of the race (October 5, 2025) will not be able to pick up your start package.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, if that person has your confirmation email with QR code for pick up and copy of your passport.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Only from marathon to half marathon, or from half marathon to marathon until 20 August 2025
