The Sarajevo Half Marathon takes you through the heart of one of the most unique cities in the Balkans. The course is fast, flat, and ideal for a personal best, yet also wonderfully scenic. You will run along wide modern boulevards, follow the Miljacka River, and enjoy the calm, green beauty of the city’s iconic “Vilsonovo Šetalište”, closed entirely for the runners.
As you move through Sarajevo, you’ll experience a blend of Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and Yugoslav architecture, historic bridges, and the unmistakable rhythm of a city where cultures meet. The crowd support is warm, energetic, and always close, so you’ll feel the spirit of Sarajevo all along the way.
The race offers regular refreshment stations, medical support, and live music points featuring school choirs, orchestras, and DJs providing motivation throughout the course.

Can someone collect my race pack for me?
In the event that a runner cannot collect his/her own running number, a third party can collect it in his/her place upon the presentation of the runner's identification documents or confirmation of his/her date of birth.
I will not be able to run. Is it possible to refund the registration fee?
No, but it is possible to transfer the registration to someone else.
Where can I leave my personal belongings during the race?
During all races, there will be a secure cloakroom at the start/finish line where runners can leave their personal items before the race. Runners are solely responsible for items left in the cloakroom.
