GravelMan Côte d’Azur is a road and gravel ultra-distance cycling event.

The event takes place in a Côte d’Azur setting marked by the Esterel mountains, Mediterranean coastline, red rock formations and sea views. Elevation gain varies by route, from about 800 meters on the 60 km course to about 10,000 meters on the 500 km course. Participants receive the map and event manifesto shortly before the start.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?

The refund of registration fees (excluding administrative fees of €10 including VAT) will be made by a partial credit of the payment to a bank account provided by the participant.

The use of a dedicated cycling GPS is recommended. Each athlete must follow the mandatory GravelMan route. You can extract the GPX file corresponding to your format (road or gravel) from Strava, located in the Drive attached to the email sent 10 days prior to the event, and transfer it directly to your GPS.

Mandatory clothing

- Warm gloves for cold temperatures - Cold-resistant clothing - Reflective clothing (Audax vest, safety vest) - Jacket with hood, made with a waterproof membrane (minimum recommended 10,000 *Schmerber) and breathable (*RET recommended less than 13) - if no hood, headband and beanie are allowed. - Helmet - Glasses

- Front and rear lights: 200 lumens or more for the main light. A headlamp is also recommended. - Bicycle pump mandatory, even if you are using tubeless tires - Repair kit: patch, glue and tire lever - 1 inner tube, or even two if possible - 1 survival blanket - Mobile phone and charger - Minimum water reserve: 1.5 liters - Recommended 5000 mAh / 10000 mAh external battery - Recommended 1000 calories of food reserve - Whistle required

The GravelMan Series® events are ultra-distance cycling events described as "unassisted" (bikepacking), offering 6 distances: 60 km, 120 km, 200 km, 350 km, 500 km and 700 km. All, or almost all, of the dates have these distances in Road and Gravel versions. - Road = 100% road - Gravel = 70-60% gravel and 30-40% road
