Join Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k & 5K 2026
The Reggae Marathon & Half Marathon is Jamaica’s premier international long-distance race event. Long distance race enthusiasts as well as beginners, have converged in Negril, Jamaica’s capital of casual, for a fun event characterized by good vibes and lots of Reggae music for the past 24 years !
In 2025, the event celebrates its 25th anniversary and moves to Jamaica’s capital, Kingston where enthusiastic supporters come out along the looped, internationally certified course to support participants. Meanwhile, hard working volunteers offer uniquely packaged water and re-hydration fluids at every mile. The pulsating Reggae music on the course also keeps participants in an “irie” spirit, as they burn the mileage.
Other related Reggae Marathon events, like the internationally rated gourmet Pasta Party and Registration & Expo, have participants and supporters alike, humming with activity. The Finish Line Beach Bash affords everyone to relax with special offerings and entertainment geared towards having the best time.
All in all, the Reggae Marathon Event is uniquely Jamaican with an international appeal
Course details
Route Start on Nethersole Place, turn left onto Ocean Boulevard, right onto West Street then left onto Port Royal Street, continuing onto Marcus Garvey Drive to Eighth Avenue, proceed onto Shannon Drive, U-turn on Shannon Drive and return along Marcus Garvey Drive onto Port Royal Street, turning left onto Orange Street, right onto Water Lane (The Art Walk), left onto King Street, right onto Tower Street, right onto Church Street, left onto Water Lane (The Art Walk), then right onto East Street, left onto Harbour Street, then proceed onto Micheal Manley Boulevard, make a U-turn 250 meters after Hyslope Avenue and return along Michael Manley Boulevard, continuing onto Port Royal Street to finish at corner of Port Royal Street and Hanover Street.
RM 10K Route

All finishers of the Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K will receive a commemorative medal; Participation certificates will be awarded to all finishers, which will be available for downloading and printing after the event
Temps maximum
Start Time: 5:15am; Course remains open for 6 hours, Marathoners must reach the halfway mark in 3 hours
