North Chilterns 50K
Join North Chilterns 50K 2026
Experience the stunning North Chiltern trails, with flowing ridgeline running and views that stretch for miles.
The 5th edition will take place on Saturday, 21st November 2026.
Hosted from the delightful Putteridge Bury Estate, runners will explore the surrounding trails and countryside on a 50K course.
This is a delightful route to run, with several stunning viewpoints including Warden Hill and Barton & Pegsdon Hills.
Course details
After leaving CP1 (CP 1 - Arnold Rec, Barton, 14.3km), the first big climb awaits, but once successfully navigated there a lovely undulating section to CP2 (CP 2 - The View, 28km).
Out of CP2 runners explore the Pegsdon Hills and head towards to Offley.
The last 12k to the finish is a mini rollercoaster with three small hills to get up and down.
Overall the terrain keeps the running varied and doesn't ever feel like your doing too much of one thing.
