The Nepalgunj 10 km Night Run takes place under artificial lights along Surkhet Road in Nepalgunj. This unique 10-kilometre race, held annually on Constitution Day, now enjoys recognition from AIMS—the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races—making Nepalgunj the first base in Nepal to host both a night-time and day-time AIMS-certified event. The gently paced, city-center course showcases Nepalgunj’s peaceful and cultured spirit while offering runners a rare after-dark experience in the country. The atmosphere combines competition with celebration, creating an event where endurance athletes can enjoy both speed and cultural connection.
