Mudskipper US SoCal - Silverwood

Mudskipper SoCal – Silverwood is a dynamic SwimRun event held at Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area in Southern California, offering participants stunning views of the San Bernardino Mountains and the tranquility of a fall lakeside setting. The event features two race options: the Swimrun Mini at 8.5K, ideal for beginners with a mix of paved and rugged trails, and the 15K Short Course, which challenges athletes with technical terrain and swims in areas typically inaccessible to the public, including sections along the famed Pacific Crest Trail.

Participants alternate between trail running and swims in the reservoir, navigating a course that highlights both the natural beauty and adventure of the region. SwimRun athletes must complete all segments while wearing their gear, such as running shoes during swims and wetsuits optional for warmth and buoyancy.

Mudskipper Events is recognized for supporting the growth of SwimRun sports across North America, with a focus on eco-friendly practices backed by official sponsor Sumarpo Wetsuits.
