The Wizz Air Milano Marathon presents a fast and picturesque course that predominantly winds through the heart of the city. All finishers receive a medal and jersey. Additionally, there's a cutting-edge Running Festival that transforms into a contemporary and engaging running fair over three days.
This year’s marathon retains the highlights of the previous edition, with both the start and finish set against the stunning backdrop of Piazza del Duomo. Cheering points throughout the city will create a festive atmosphere, providing motivation along every kilometre of the route.
Course details
Completely revamped for the latest edition, the loop race course, which starts and finishes at Piazza Del Duomo, the vibrant heart of the city, is refined each year to provide all runners with a modern and comprehensive route. This course successfully balances the needs of elite runners and seasoned amateurs, while also allowing participants to appreciate and enjoy a city that increasingly blends historical and contemporary elements.
For many years, Milan has boasted the fastest marathon in Italy and ranks among the quickest globally (it was the fastest in the world in 2021). Each year, numerous participants achieve their personal bests right here in Milan.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
➤Thursday 3 April from 4pm to 8pm ➤Friday 4 April from 10:00 to 20:00 ➤Saturday 5 April from 9:00 to 19:00 ➤Location: inside MiCo – Milan Convention Centerl. Access will be from Gate 13 in via Giovanni Gattamelata. The nearest metro stop (Portello, on the purple M5 line) is about 300 meters from the village. ➤NO race-day collection.
How do I get to the race location?
➤BY SUBWAY - This is the system we recommend: by using the metro you will help the Milan Marathon to be a more eco-sustainable event! The closest stops to the departure are: Stops SAN BABILA M1 (red), CORDUSIO M1 (red), MISSORI M3 (yellow) *** ➤ON THE TRAIN - From MILAN CENTRALE station you can reach the departure area using the M3 line (yellow) until the stop indicated above. *** ➤BY CAR - We do not recommend reaching the departure area by car. If you really can't help but use the car, we suggest using the parking lots available at numerous metro stations, which offer convenient daily rates. You can find further information on the ATM website.

Bag storage and changing room
The service area (bag storage and changing room) will be open from 6.30 am and is located in Piazza Castello at the Viale Gadio intersection (Cairoli red line M1 and Lanza green line M2 metro stop).
