Join Langkawi International Half Marathon 2026
From 2,200 runners in 2022 to 6,850 in 2025 (with 55,000 online applications), LIHM has grown into one of the most in-demand races in the region selling out within one hour last year. To preserve its premium “runcation” experience, participation for LIHM26 will be capped at 7,000 runners.
LIHM is the only competitive race in Malaysia that starts and finishes indoors, offering international-standard, fully air-conditioned facilities. The course showcases breathtaking paddy fields and sunrise mountain views widely regarded as Malaysia’s most scenic race route.
For 2026, LIHM will focus exclusively on the Half Marathon category, reinforcing its position as a high-performance, serious competitive event. Vision 2027: To become Malaysia’s first Half Marathon with an Elite Race Label, positioning LIHM among Southeast Asia’s leading road races.
